I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the magazine that you have produced for Radio Frimley Park. Now that we have had it for a little while, I can report that not only the membership are very happy with it, more important — the patients like it too!
You have put together a good mix of material, some of which we supplied, and some you sourced elsewhere, including quizzes, brain-teasers and information pages, too. Just the job for patients to browse through — perhaps when they aren’t listening to us!
I would also like to thank you for the donations that you have made to Radio Frimley Park. You made a very significant donation at the outset, just after we had given you instructions to produce our Patients Guide, and then made two more donations later, one at about the time the Guide came out, and another one not long after that, making our association more beneficial from our point of view than any other of its type that we have entered into in the past. The whole project was closely managed from start to finish and was accomplished in what seemed to us to be a very short timescale.
I would have no hesitation in recommending you to other hospital radio stations, and similar community-based organisations.
